Evan & Aidan
Yesterday was the Walk for Autism at the Zoo. We went as part of "Konner's Krowd". Konner is Aidan's friend from both preschool and church. He and his twin brother were in Aidan's class last year and the year before. This year Konner is at another school, but Kade is still in class with Aidan - and this year Evan, too. They are all buds!
Konner is an amazing kid. He was never any trouble in class and all the kids treated him just like anyone else - except according to Aidan "Konner doesn't talk - Kade does." That was true, but now that Konner is at his own school and doesn't have Kade to talk for him, he's really come into his own! To me you wouldn't know that he has any problems at all - he's come a long way! That's thanks to his awesome parents, his therapists and God.
Way to go Konner! Thanks for letting us be part of the Walk and raise funds and awareness for Autism.
