Christmas Part II

Part II of our Christmas celebration was at home. We shared a yummy fried turkey dinner with our friends David & Allison. Allison is practically a professional cake decorator, so I let her help Aidan decorate the gingerbread cookies for Santa. Ella was just tired and she went to bed early.

In the morning, Aidan actually stayed in bed until we came and got him. He's so patient! Then he was so excited to see his Polar Express Train! Santa brought Ella a baby doll and a train set of her own. Aidan was shocked to discover that Santa left a big mess in the fireplace and a note. We had a wonderful morning then packed up and headed to Matt's parents. Stay tuned for pictures from that visit.
