The Zoo!

We went to the Fort Worth Zoo on Saturday - you have never, ever seen so many people! Thankfully it was a gorgeous day and everyone was just happy to be outside. No pushing and shoving, although I did accidentally run over some toes with the double stroller. We were just greeted with smiles. Seriously. Everyone was so nice.

The animals were great, too. We saw the baby giraffe - so cute! Then, the lion roared for us. You can see in one of the pictures below that Aidan had the map of the zoo. He tracked our entire route. He would say, "now we're at the elephants and next are the snakes." He kept it up the whole time - with the anticipation of arriving at the train station. The grand finale was the ride on the train. Aidan was impressed, but poor Macy was hoping to see some animals from the train like she did at the San Diego Zoo. She was so disappointed! All in all, it was a good day and a great trip.
