I am not a natural athlete. My face turns bright red when I think about jogging. I don't lift weights and I feel like an alien in a gym. But since I've turned 30, I've noticed that I can't eat that piece of cake or indulge in too many vanilla lattes because it sticks with me. That, plus two kids means I really need to take better care of myself. This summer, I started working out - outside. I took the kids with me 2 days a week and the other days were at 6:00 am. The workouts varied from cardio to yoga to the exercise ball. Yoga is much more my style.
With Matt's schedule last semester, I totally quit going. So, this week I started Boot Camp! It's an intensive 2 week program from 5:30 - 6:30 IN THE MORNING everyday. Yes, before the sun is even thinking about rising. Again, we workout outside unless it's less than 40 degrees then we go into a gym. Believe it or not, I'm really enjoying getting up early and getting moving - sometimes faster than I like, but I already feel stronger.
So, there you go, that's why you haven't seen anything new from me lately. I'm too sore to sit at the computer - seriously.

People who exercise regularly are more admired than people who make lots of $$$$. So here's to ya for being disciplined. Way to Go. Sore hurts but it's an instant "reward" for your efforts. Keep up the good work you look great!
I'm impressed! I'm going to body pump tomorrow. My goal is body pump 2x a week. I've been walking the other days. Exercising makes you feel great, it's just doing it!
Yeah!! I'm so proud of you! I'll keep my my early mornings this week, too.
