Almost a week!

I can't believe it's been a week since my last post. Time is flying by! We've been busy - shopping, wrapping, playing. The weather has been beautiful and we've spent some time at the park!

The big news is that Matt finished his first semester of teaching full-time. I think he did an exceptional job. The last few days were spent reading 80 marketing journals - he kept reminding me that it was 3200 pages! My eyes would be crossed and I would have just slapped grades on them, but he actually took the time to read their papers. Amazing. He's looking forward to some time off. Next semester he will have a normal schedule - no night classes!

If I had a scanner - but I don't since I quit my job and politely returned my favorite gadget - I would show you pictures of Ella's first haircut. Don't panic! You can't even tell that it was cut. It was just trimmed so that it would curl again. She did great. I took her to Cool Cuts - where we take Aidan and he is so happy to sit in the firetruck and watch a movie. She's been there plenty of times and knows the routine. She picked her car, let the hairdresser put the smock on (after 3 years of haircuts, Aidan is just now ok with that), and actually set pretty still. The hairdresser kept asking me if this really was her first haircut. Maybe I'll be able to post after Christmas - hint, hint...

Aidan is still so excited about Christmas, but "you better watch out...Santa's watching" is getting a bit old in his book and he's pushed some limits. I bet he gets more than coal for Christmas - although he has talked about how Santa will bring coal for his train engines. Too cute!

As I have time - I'll post sweet Christmas pictures.

Merry Christmas!

"I'm about to call Santa" is getting old at our house too. Not as effective as it was 2 weeks ago. Can't wait to see Ella's hair cut. Your Christmas card were perfect! Have a Merry Christmas!

Okay am I that out of the loop, I didn't know you quit your job? Really? We did lego advent calendars this year and it's really helped that they have got to open a little something everyday. Thanks lego.com
