On Monday, we travelled to Fort Worth to have a quick Christmas with my Granny and PaPa. My brother's kids were there, so it was fun for all the cousins to play together. All the kids had gifts to open, then we gave Granny and PaPa their gift. They opened a package with a picture of a 1950 Phillips television - just like what they had 50 years ago. Then we told them they were about to see what a 2008 model looked like. Immediately, Granny started crying. Matt, my uncle and my dad brought in the 42" flat screen television. They were so surprised! They've been wanting a new tv set, so this was the perfect gift for them. The whole family went in to purchase it for them. Doug and Chandra found the "deal" and bought the tv and we brought it all the way from Abilene. The tv looks great! I'm sure they will enjoy it. Merry Christmas!!
