A Day with Dad

It's Matt and Mini Matt ready for a day at the office. Wednesday was the day Aidan has been looking forward to for a long time. He got to go to work with his dad. He was so excited and even fixed himself a "coffee" just like his daddy.

Aidan had it all planned out - down to meeting Ella and me at Sharky's for lunch. He had a great time at the office and completed his to-do list Matt had for him. He had to find different kinds of railroad pieces on Google Maps on the iPhone. He found points, intersections, curves, you name it, he found it. That iPhone is amazing! It actually shows satellite images of the earth, so Aidan really followed the real railroad all across the country. I think it was a great learning experience for him.

Later that afternoon, Matt continued the father son day as he worked on installing his new surround sound system. They were up in the attic when I heard a gigantic CRASH and saw Matt's entire leg fall through the ceiling. Thankfully no one was hurt, but my heart stopped for a second. Now we have a nice 2 ft hole in the ceiling. That "free" surround sound system (Matt won fantasty football this year) just got expensive.
