We had a wonderful thanksgiving in Amarillo with Matt's cousin Mike and his family plus all the other cousins and in-laws. Matt's 96 year old Nana even made the trip from Pampa. His sister, Suzanne and her three kids (Viva, Ava and Calo) flew out from Santa Barbara. It was a full house - 28 of us in all.

My father-in-law can sleep through anything - even football and photo shoots. I can't tell you how many times someone would come in and say "Bill/Grandad/Dad is asleep again!". Too funny.I'm going to have to get better at taking pictures, because this is the best one I have of Aidan & Calo playing together. They had a fantastic time. They played trains, built lego towers and ate catfish. Four and five are wonderful ages and it was so fun watching and listening to them.
On Saturday, we packed up and went to see Nana in Pampa. Here's all the little kids visiting with her. Ella thought her walker was the best ride, ever.

We made it home without too much trouble and woke up to a cold, snowy Sunday. Here we are in the snow:

Glad everyone is feeling better at your house too. :) We enjoyed getting to be with you for a while...it's never long enough, though! We'll have to continue the Thurber idea for sure.
Love Uncle Bill asleep in the chair. My dad does the same thing, but moves his foot so it looks like he's awake the whole time. Calo is adorable, I haven't ever seen him. Looks like the boys had a blast! Miss you! xo JO
